Our installers are experienced, responsible craftsmen who are accustomed to challenging, intricate tile applications. Stone & Tile Creations is a proud member of the National Tile Contractors Association (“NTCA”). We are also a Certified Tile Installer approved by the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (“CTEF”), which provides for comprehensive testing of the skills and knowledge of experienced tile installers based on current industry standards and best practices.
In the firm belief that what goes underneath the tile is vitally important to the long-term success of your project, we use only top quality setting materials. We also keep firmly abreast of all recent developments in tile installation that can improve your project in countless ways, including superior substrate methods, new stain-resistant grouts, waterproofing techniques, drain systems for curbless showers, and much more. This helps us ensure that your tile installation will not only look the way you envisioned it would but that it will last for a long time to come. There is no point spending a small fortune selecting exquisite tile only to have it fail a year or two down the road because your installer cut corners or is improperly trained. While guiding our clients through the decision-making process, we take the time to listen to our clients’s wants and needs and pay careful attention to the small details that often make the difference between a good job and a truly great one. Particularly with natural stone and complex tile installations, we review tile layouts on site with our clients prior to installation. Time invested on the front end of a project goes a long way to ensuring clients get what they imagined and not a “surprise” that could easily have been avoided.
We are comfortable working directly with homeowners as well as with clients working with a contractor or builder. We offer a broad array of tile services, depending on what a client’s needs are, including:
- demolition and removal of existing tile
- in-floor heat installation
- designer services for tile selection
- turn-key installation of both man-made tiles (such as ceramic, porcelain, glass, metal) and natural stone tiles (such as marble, limestone, granite, slate)
- installation of full marble or granite slabs on shower walls
- application of stain-resistant grouts or epoxy-based grouts
- sealing of all natural stone
And, because we have our own fabrication shop, we can custom fabricate corner shelves, knee wall caps, niches, curbs, shower jambs, countertops and anything else your project might need to truly customize your installation and give you a superior, finished job!
